    Shrouoq unveils Khorfakkan adventure project near spectacular Soueifa mountain

    A new adventure project is being developed by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) in Khorfakkan, overlooking the serene Luluyah Beach and adjacent to the breathtaking Soueifa Mountain. The project will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023. It will include a zipline, giant swing, dry slide track, hiking trails, mountain bike tracks, and various amenities for tourists and visitors from the eastern region of the UAE. A restaurant and observation deck overlook the landscape and the routes of the adventure track on the mountaintop, offering breathtaking views.

The project enriches the expansive portfolio of integrated projects developed by Shurooq and offers comprehensive solutions to the ever-growing demand for tourism and leisure experiences on the East Coast.

    A magnitude 4.9 earthquake hits southwestern China on Friday, striking Gao County in Yibin City within Sichuan province. According to official measurements published by the China Earthquake Networks Center, the seismic event occurred at 1:08 p.m. local time at a shallow focal depth of six kilometers. State broadcaster CCTV confirmed that one person was killed after being struck by a collapsing exterior wall while attempting to seek safety during the tremors.
